Story begins with Ram (jagapathi babu) who runs a coffee shop in Bangkok and he has a happy family in the form of his wife Vidya (vimala), son and brother in law (harshavardhan). Things take a turn with the arrival of Shankar Narayana (kota prasad) along with his lawyer (tanikella). They suspect that Ram is none other than Durga, the arch enemy of Guru Narayana (kota). They come up with various attempts to confirm if Ram is Durga but Ram insists he is not so. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

The film happens to be a sequel to the original movie ‘Gaayam’ which came many years ago. While the first half was a lift from a Hollywood film, the second half was perfect in connection and it syncs well with the audience.

‘Aashayein’ Movie is all about ‘hopes’.Everyone would like to relate with the movie.
Aashayein movie story around Rahul Singh which is(John Abraham) a compulsive gambler who wins Rs. 20 million from a bet and throws a party to celebrate. Everyone has a good time drinking and partying till late night during which Rahul proposes to Nafisa (Sonal Sehgal). He announces their engagement.

This movie is directed byNagesh Kukunoor. Director Nagesh Kukunoor has been a leader as far as choice and narrative history of real worry. Aashayein too, seems like “our” history. Here is a man who suddenly discovers that he is a few months to live.
The actors of the film though have managed to perform aptly, as their roles demanded. John, Sonal Sehgal and newcomer Anaitha Nair have played their respectively roles fairly.

Shirdi (Maharashtra) (ANI) - Sandals of Shirdi Sai Baba will be taken to London from here, as hundreds of Non-Resident Indian (NRI) devotees wish to seek his blessings by viewing the saint's relics.

The wooden sandals of the Baba would reach London on September 19.

A member of the Sai Baba Sansthan Trust said the event has been organised by devotees in London as they wish to seek the Baba's holy blessing.

"London has a huge number of Sai Baba devotees and they wish to see as well as seek blessings from the sacred sandals of Baba. They requested the Sai Trust for this and then the trust arranged an event there. Arvinde Tiku, a devotee along with other disciples of Baba made arrangements for the whole tour," said Ashok Khandekar, a trustee.
