Teachers Day Messages | sms,Greeting Cards,Poems,Quotes on Teachers | Teachers Day Wishes

Today is the day of Teachers who are considered even greater than God. 5 September 2010 India Teachers who are the backbone of our development are being remembered specially on a day that is 5th of September.

The Reason behind Teachers Day Celebration on 5th of September is that it is also the Birthday of Dr. Sarwapalli Radhakrishnan who was also our second President. He was a Teacher and has a great interest in Teaching and loves to teach that is why his Birthday is celebrated as Teachers Day.

Best teacher is the person, who becomes a teacher in the classroom and other circumstances, acts as a friend or a parent. To celebrate the relationship between you and your best teacher, you may dedicate few lines to him/her. Dedicating poetry is a nice idea, to express your affection and sincere gratitude to him/her. If you want some poems for your favorite teacher, then read the article.

Teachers Day
The way you teach…
The knowledge you share…
The care you take…
The love you shower..
Makes you…
The world’s best teacher…
Happy Teacher’s Day!

A good teacher is like a candle -
it consumes itself to
light the way for others...

A good teacher is a master of simplification and an enemy of simplism

You are a wonderful teacher
who proved that learning can be joyous
and pleasant experience
wishing you a HAPPY TEACHER’S DAY

Teachers Day The way you teach…
The knowledge you share…
The care you take…
The love you shower..
Makes you…
The world’s best teacher…
Happy Teacher’s Day!

Oh teacher, Oh teacher!

My test isn’t signed
Because somehow
My parents went blind
Now, don’t say it’s my fault,
They left their hands in the bank vault.

Oh teacher, Oh teacher
Do you know why
I was born without wings
And so cannot fly
Thus I am late
Didn’t have breakfast,
So if you don’t mind,
Pass me a plate.

Oh teacher, Oh teacher!
I’ve failed again
Please don’t scold me,
Now you’ll see why,
I was thinking about
Having an eagle’s brain.
- Sharmila Saheed

I Want To Be Like You

Thank you, teacher,
for being my life's role model.
When I consider all you've taught me
and reflect on the kind of person you are,
I want to be like you—
smart, interesting and engaging,
positive, confident, yet unpretentious.
I want to be like you—
well-informed and easy to understand,
thinking with your heart as well as your head,
gently nudging us to do our best,
with sensitivity and insight.
I want to be like you—
giving your time, energy and talent
to ensure the brightest possible future
for each of us.
Thank you, teacher
For giving me a goal to shoot for:
I want to be like you!

नाग पंचमी Nagpanchimi sms Hindi

nagpanchimi sms hindi, garuda panchami pooja free download, nag panchami sms jokes hindi,Aaj Nag Panchami SMS,2010 Naga Panchami Wishes Text Messages, free hindi nagpanchami sms.

नाग पंचमी is a festival during which religious Hindus in some parts of India worship either images of or live Nāgas (cobras) on the fifth day (Panchami) of the month of Shravan. Traditionally, married young women visit their premarital households to celebrate the festival. Especially in villages in India, a traditional aspect of the celebration involves joyous swinging by young women on swings temporarily hung on tree branches.

Nag-Panchami is an important all-India festival and is celebrated on the fifth day of the moonlit-fortnight in the month of Shravan (July /August). This is the time when serpents invariably come out of their holes that get inundated with rain-water to seek shelter in gardens and many times in houses. As such they pose a great danger to man.

May be therefnag_panchami.jpgore, snakes are worshiped on this day. Right from the times when mankind started acquiring some sort of culture, Sun and Snake have been invoked with prayers and ritual worship in mostof the countries. In India even before the Vedic times, the tradition of snake-worship was in vogue.

Celebration of Guru Poornima Day in Shirdi

The celebration of Guru Poornima began in Shirdi around 1908. One day Shri Baba told his disciple Shri Dada Kelkar, "Do you know this day is the day to approach Gurus? Bring your worship articles". Then Shri Kelkar and his friends looked up the calendar and found that the day was Guru Poornima day. They started worshipping Shri Sai Baba as their Guru, and that practice has continued till today not only in Shirdi but all over the world where prayers are offered to Shri Sai.

Guru Poornima is the day to pay our deep gratitude to all the great Gurus or Masters who have happened on planet Earth. The Guru is the one who dispels the darkness of ignorance and infuses the light of awareness into our lives.

With Guru Poornima being celebrated his month, we sought out to do some research from various sources for the general benefit of all Devotees. The results are published below in a concise format. This is only an attempt to summarize what other authors, preachers, documents and books have said about this great event. This document is by no means a complete or authoritative account of the subject but will serve as a good starting point.
